Newcastle Airport has committed to a phased implementation of a long term landscape vision, for both the estate and the maintenance of the woodland pattern of Newcastle, and _space group’s landscape team have been heavily involved in this process, taking responsibility for design, contract administration and planning liaison. The latest phase seeks to implement advance screening of future long term car park expansion and apron development, as well as providing corridors for wildlife movement north of the city and satisfy CAA requirements for bird strike hazard control.
